"The only word, plain and simple from the core of my heart, that I can think of to describe the coaching I’ve received so far is ‘Awesome’.
I’ve been studying English for 28 years but never have I experienced such a unique and inspiring teaching style. What I get out of each lesson is priceless, each and every single one of her classes are of tremendous value to me. She clearly explains how to pronounce each vowel and consonant and she always finds a specific and easy way for me to do it. She creates exercises specifically for my needs and together we figure out what works and what doesn't. She has gone to great lengths to help me sound like a native speaker, by reminding me not to be hard on myself and that practice makes perfect and, most importantly, by encouraging me every step of the way. She’s an inspiration and a great teacher."

"Once I noticed that I was able to sing more than "hey ya" when listening to the Outkast hit, I realized how much I learned with Iomi. Because she was able to combine fun and hard work, I was finally able to display some strong active listening improvements. Her consistent support and teaching methods were also critical to my high GMAT score, and I felt really prepared to start a graduate program. You will be really amazed by her patience and ability to correct the trickiest pronunciation mistakes!"

"The awesome thing about having Iomi as a teacher is that she makes you WANT to learn. She makes it fun, not a drag."

"My English skills were pretty good when I started class, but my writing and grammar was better then my speaking skills, which were influenced of me not being from an English-speaking country.
In class with Iomi my pronunciation improved a lot, because she was able to pick out the sounds I was having problems with and then teach me how to pronounce them properly (Like Z versus S, the th-sound etc.). My understanding of the English language also improved, because she taught us how Americans talk on an everyday basis. We learned about everyday phrases and what they meant (Like the "how are you", which can be confusing because the person asking usually doesn't really care how you are). We also learned about idioms, which I had never even heard of, but proved to be an important part of the English language. All in all, her class made my English skills better and a lot more natural and genuine.
At the beginning of the class I had a distinct accent which pointed me out as a foreigner to all Americans, but at the end of my stay my speaking was so natural that most Americans took me for one of their own."

She was very clear on what she wanted the class to learn. She is challenging you to do and be better and I did just that. She makes you want to learn and that is a fantastic teacher skill. On a personal note, Iomi is a very warm and caring friend with an awesome sense of humour.
